As an Asian immigrant, I am deeply familiar with non-verbal displays of love, especially the sharing of sustenance. More than simply an act of service, shared foods deserve their own category as the sixth love language. In U Eat Yet?, I document this labor of love through carefully cropped close-ups of chopping boards, family-style spreads, and dirty dishes.
